Honoring the Normandin Family: 2026 Legacy Leader Award Recipient

The San Jose Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the Normandin Family as this year’s Legacy Leader Award recipient. As the Chamber celebrates its 140th anniversary, we are honored to recognize a family marking an extraordinary 150 years in business in San Jose.
Founded in 1875 as a horse-and-buggy shop by blacksmith Amable Normandin, the Normandin Family business has grown alongside San Jose. Today, the fifth generation of Normandins owns and operates Normandin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, continuing to evolve the dealership while remaining rooted in the entrepreneurial spirit that launched the business generations ago.
The Legacy Leader Award honors those whose long-term leadership and service have made a lasting impact on our region. The Normandin Family’s story—rooted in entrepreneurial spirit and sustained civic contribution—exemplifies the very meaning of legacy.
