FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
San Jose, CA, July 25, 2019 – The Silicon Valley Organization’s Political Action Committee (FPPC #820668) announced today a slate of early endorsements for candidates in key targeted races for the March 3, 2020 primary election including:
The SVO PAC has initiated early endorsements for each candidate because they all have a proven record of supporting public policies that facilitate job creation, promote business expansion/retention, and foster economic development.
“As a former small businessman, Councilmember Khamis will serve as a fiscally responsible leader in our State legislature. He will also ensure California continues to focus on job creation and that regulations improve the business climate rather than stifle innovation” said SVO President & CEO Matt Mahood.
“Councilmembers Davis and Diep have consistently voted in support of pro-business policy solutions, such as removing hurdles to housing production, supporting public transit/road infrastructure projects, and making fiscally responsible decisions that ensure that every resident is better served by the City of San Jose. These leaders deserve re-election because San Jose residents will be better served with more experienced and pragmatic legislators on the City Council” said SVO PAC Chair Anil Babbar.
The SVO PAC is a committee of SVO member investors focused on supporting the election of business-friendly candidates to local and regional public office. The SVO PAC cultivates, recruits, endorses and supports those candidates for public office who understand the importance of sound public policy that promotes workforce development, job creation, and a positive business climate.
