Michael Lin is a tax manager at Johanson & Yau Accountancy Corporation, a CPA firm located right next to San Pedro Square in downtown San Jose.
Michael provides tax planning and compliance services for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trusts, and specializes in estate and tax planning, tax return preparation, and conflict resolution for his clients.
Michael is a Bay Area native and completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California with a BS in Accounting (go Trojans!). He completed his Masters in Taxation from San Jose State University. He looks forward to meeting and connecting with people outside of his normal social circles and learning how to engage with the City of San Jose in a meaningful way.
Michael resides in Sunnyvale with his wife and son. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books of a variety of genres, watching and analyzing critically acclaimed films, traveling to new and unique cities with family and friends, and watching his USC Trojans win lots of football games (a futile endeavor recently).
