Peter Nissly is an attorney with Ellenberg & Hull where his practice focuses on representing clients with commercial litigation matters, including trade secret, probate and contract disputes. Prior to joining Ellenberg & Hull, Peter served as a post-bar extern at the Sixth District Court of Appeal for Justice Bamattre-Manoukian, and as a Graduate Fellow at the Northern California Innocence Project.
Born and raised in the South Bay Area, Peter graduated from Saratoga High School and attended Santa Clara University where he received his B.S. in 2006, and then Santa Clara University School of Law where he received his J.D. in 2009. During law school, Peter worked for the Law Offices of Allen Ruby, and as an intern for the Santa Clara County Office of the Public Defender.
Outside of work, Peter is a member of the American Bar Association, the Santa Clara County Bar Association, and he lives in Morgan Hill with his wife and two young children. Peter is excited to participate in the SVO’s LSJ cohort program because of the opportunity it provides to meet with and learn from other members of the community interested in increasing their civic, political and community service activities.
