Name: Ann Marie Auer

Company: Samaritan Medical Center

Ann Marie has been the Executive Administrator at Samaritan Medical Center since 2010. She multitasks well, juggling her property management responsibilities with managing service contracts, board of directors meetings, event coordination, editor of the company newsletter and establishes protocols that enhance patient experiences on the medical campus.

Her prior employment at The Health Trust gave her insight into many of the health-related non-profits within Santa Clara County, both from a service and funding standpoint. It is here that she developed an appreciation for helping the underserved in the community.

She jumped at the chance, when the opportunity arose, to become part of a steering committee to develop a non-profit focused on psychosocial elements of a cancer patient’s journey. After 10 years at The Health Trust, she joined Samaritan Medical Center, the founding organization that helped launch what is now – Cancer CAREpoint.

Ann Marie is an active Notary and a member of the National Notary Association for the past 16 years.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Ann Marie is married, has a grown daughter, three grandchildren, and has lived in the Cambrian area of San Jose for four decades. She is an active member of Trinity

Presbyterian Church, in which she is a music worship leader. Additional interests include ballroom dancing, biking, cooking, gardening and travelling. Ann Marie is enthusiastic about her life, family, work and is committed to making this world a better place. She hopes being part of LSJ 2018 will broaden her understanding of the needs within San Jose.
