The trip provides important two-way communication on crucial topics. Statewide and regional officials are able to hear concerns and insights from Silicon Valley business leaders – who in turn are able to ask questions and learn first-hand the latest information about laws and policies under consideration in Sacramento.

"I strongly encourage Chamber members to engage in dialogue with decision-makers," said Chamber President and CEO Pat Dando, "We need to ensure that the voice of business for Silicon Valley is heard throughout the corridors of the State Capitol."

The Chamber has a long tradition of speaking out for common-sense public policies at City Hall, in Sacramento and in Washington D.C. When the Silicon Valley delegation meets with them, elected officials and other key policy makers hear the real-life experiences of the business and community leaders who have helped build one of the most vibrant, innovative regions in the world.

The cost for the all-day trip is $75 and includes transportation, breakfast and lunch. The delegation will leave the Chamber office about 7 a.m. and return late afternoon. Register now at www.sjchamber.com.
